# Terms of Use — ThingsLoved.com
**Effective date:** September 19, 2026
**Contact:** [email protected]
These Terms govern your use of ThingsLoved.com, its story pages, Story Labels, photo products, and related services. By creating an account, placing an order, uploading content, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you only view a story, the provisions relevant to visitors also apply.
## The service and eligibility
Things Loved lets customers create pages containing memories, images, and audio linked to a QR label or photo product. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account or purchase. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping login credentials secure. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
## Story visibility and sharing
[Verify how visibility works.] A person with a QR label or story link may be able to open and share the story without logging in. You are responsible for choosing what to publish and for obtaining appropriate permission from living people whose personal information, image, or voice you include. Do not use a story page to disclose sensitive information such as financial account numbers, identification numbers, private addresses, or confidential records. We cannot control what viewers copy or redistribute after they access a story.
## Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, transmit, and create physical products from your content solely to provide and maintain the service and fulfill your orders. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except as needed for backups, legal obligations, and content already shared with others. We will not claim ownership of your memories, photos, or recordings. We will seek separate permission before using your content in our marketing.
You represent that you own or have the rights needed to submit and share the content; that your use of another person's image, voice, or personal information is lawful; and that the content does not violate another person's rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or the law, and may respond to privacy, copyright, or other rights complaints. [If seeking U.S. DMCA safe-harbor protection, publish the designated agent's details here and register the agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; a generic support address alone is insufficient.]
## Acceptable use
Do not upload or share unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, deceptive, obscene, or infringing material; impersonate someone; access another account without permission; interfere with security or operations; introduce malware; scrape or harvest personal information; or use the service to spam or exploit others. We may investigate and take proportionate action, including removing content or suspending access.
## Orders, prices, and physical products
Prices, product descriptions, shipping charges, taxes, and estimated delivery dates will be shown before you place an order. We may correct obvious errors before accepting an order and will notify you if that affects your purchase. You are responsible for providing accurate order and shipping information. Colors and cropping of printed photos may differ from screen previews. Your statutory consumer rights remain in effect.
## One-time payment
Purchases are charged once at the price shown at checkout. We do not charge recurring subscription fees.
## Hosting, backups, and QR labels
This website is owned and operated by a technology enterprise with a continuous operating history since 2000. To ensure the permanent accessibility of your Story Label links, static copies of your story pages are preserved on independent, secure, globally distributed networks. This architecture guarantees that your content remains active and accessible indefinitely, independent of any future changes to this website or platform.
## Third-party services and links
Payment, shipping, and other features may be provided by third parties with their own terms and privacy practices. We are responsible for our obligations under these Terms, but third-party sites and services are governed by their own agreements.
## Intellectual property
The Things Loved name, website design, software, and materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the service for its intended personal or authorized business purpose. No rights to our trademarks or software are granted beyond what is needed to use the service.
## Disclaimer and limits of liability
To the extent law permits, we provide the website and digital service on an "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation against every loss, or the accuracy of user-submitted stories. We do not authenticate ownership, provenance, or historical claims in a story unless we expressly say otherwise. Nothing here excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including rights relating to defective physical goods. [Have counsel tailor any monetary liability cap and exclusions to the governing jurisdiction before adding them.]
## Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the service and request account closure at [email protected]. We may suspend or end access for a material violation, security risk, or legal requirement, with notice when reasonable. [Describe what happens to paid stories and purchases after suspension or closure, including any export or refund rights.] Provisions that by nature should continue, such as ownership, payment obligations already incurred, and dispute terms, will survive.
## Disputes and governing law
Contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a problem. These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Courts located in Orange County, Florida, will hear disputes unless applicable law gives you a different forum. [Do not add arbitration or class-action waiver language without jurisdiction-specific legal review and a deliberate business decision.]
## Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future use. We will post a new effective date and provide additional notice for material changes when required. Changes to a paid order already accepted will not retroactively remove rights you had when you purchased it.
